Memphis Zoo

Photos were shot on May 3rd of 2025. Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, Memphis Zoo has become a vital raptor rehabilitation hub in Tennessee. Each year, many of these majestic birds arrive at our animal hospital in need of urgent care. Our dedicated veterinary team quickly assesses the condition of the bird and develops an appropriate treatment plan – with one mission in mind: to heal, rehabilitate and return them to the wild. Since 2016, we have successfully released 22 eagles back into their natural habitats. For those that cannot return to the wild, our team works tirelessly to find them a forever home at a trusted facility, where they can live safely and continue to thrive.
